    All merchants have to submit proof of delivery before any fiat payment is released to them for orders you make. If you are the buyer and you want to cancel cancel/return the order to the seller, you need to communicate with the seller. If you do not get any response within 7 days then please submit a ticket on support@ovid.freshdesk.com

    Shipping methods can be a bit overwhelming to setup. But once you understand the dynamic explained here it is not that complicated. 

    First; you need to create shipping methods with one dependency. You can also choose shipping for All Countries but also have Individual Countries with the same dependency but different shipping rates. So, for example if you ship Globally but have specific rates for Sweden and Norway you can create shipping methods with different rates (using the same dependency, like “weight” across all shipping methods) for Sweden and Norway and one Globally. When customers checkout and live in Sweden or Norway they will get the option to select the Norway shipping or the Global shipping method you created.

    Second; when you create the weight, you cannot have conflicting weight intervals. So, if you have 0 kg to 2 kg, you cannot have the next from 2 kg to 10 kg (as an example) because 2 kg is in both intervals. It has to be 0 kg to 1.99 kg and 2.00 kg to 10 kg in this example.

    Shipping methods can depend on Cost, Quantity and Weight. Buyers will be shown those methods for which their order's properties will be collectively matched. This shipping method will be available on checkout process for an order from your Store if:

    Cost & Weight: If the order cost of your products will be between the configured range.
    Weight: If the order weight of your products will be between the configured range.
    Quantity & Weight: If the quantity of your products in the order will be between the configured range.

    You can also select the shipping fee type to be:
    Fixed Price and Percentage (when selecting Cost & Weight)
    Fixed Price, Percentage and Unit Price (when selecting Weight only)
    Per Item with Fixed Price or Percentage and Per Order with Fixed Price (when selecting Quantity & Weight)

    Please also note that if your shipping dependency is outside of the products specification, then shipping will not work correct. So, if you have a shipping dependency in Weight and it starts from 1 kg going upwards, and you Product weight is 0.1 kg, then it will not work, and customers cannot buy from your store.

    Shipping is also calculated on the base price of all products and charged (in EUR) according to this base price. 

    Cancelling parts of, or completed orders, will not revert the shipping cost no matter if the price of the order was 100% in cryptocurrency or parts in EUR. Shipping costs will not be refunded to the buyer.

    You have order status payment pending or completed. Payment pending simply means that the order is not completed on the BCB Exchange for the Cryptocurrency payment yet. Orders made by customers in BYC cryptocurrency is cancelled after 24 hours if not completed on the BCB Exchange. Orders made in BIT are not cancelled until the buyer cancels the order on BCB Exchange themselves. 

    To see status of the order go here to see your store.
    Click Dashboard for your store.
    Click Manage order.
    Find the order and go to the status column.

    If the order is in Completed through store status you need to contact Site Admin for assistance. This is best done when you have communicated with the buyer as well since the buyer in this case would have got their deal already.

    Depending on what store you are choosing to shop in, there are several different ways to pay.

    In stores that sell products for 100% fiat currency you simply use the PSP offered to pay your order using your credit or debit VISA or Master Card. 

    In stores that sell products for any cryptocurrency, you need to follow these steps and hold/own the cryptocurrency you want to pay with.

    1. When you are on the "Product Specification Page" the default cryptocurrency to pay with is set to BYC.
    2. To change this select the "If you want to change the crypto currency, please click here"
    3. A dropdown will appear where you select other cryptocurrency to pay with and their live exchange rates.
    4. Add product to cart.
    5. Go to check-out here
    6. Your order is displayed in that cryptocurrency and any fiat payment required.
    7. Click "Proceed to checkout"
    8. If you do not have an exchange account linked to your ovid.ie email, an email is send to make you create your account on BCB Exchange. You also get a temp password.
    9. Follow instructions to create your BCB Exchange account (id you do not have one), and after approval and adding your cryptocurrency to your BCB Exchange wallet, you will be able to purchase.
    10. If you have a BCB Exchange account, you are asked to "Connect" and login to your BCB Exchange account. This is only needed one time, unless you clear your cookies/cache.
    11. The "Proceed to checkout"
    12. Add your shipping information
    13. Choose method to pay any fiat currency
    14. Approve the terms of the order and click "Place Order"
    15. You will be asked to pay any fiat currency (if any)
    16. When completed the fiat payment you click the "Submit Cryptocurrency Payment"

    Order is placed on BCB Exchange and once completed your get notified that the order has been successful.

    Yes, you can change the order of the tabs and blocks on your Store Profile from the “Edit Layout” section of your Store Dashboard. From there, you can move the widget blocks vertically up and down to change their ordering. You can also rename some blocks according to your choice. Some blocks might be “blocked” and would thus not be movable. This feature enables you to highly customize your Store, and allows you to give more prominence to that content for your Store which you feel has more relevance.

    This setting is also monitored by our site administrators. You will not be able to change the ordering of tabs / blocks, if they have disabled the corresponding settings.

    Yes, you can add other members to be admins of your Store. To do so, go to the “Manage Admins” section from the Store Dashboard. From here, you can add any number of Admins for your Store. These admins will have all the permissions as you currently have to manage various aspects of your Store. You can also choose Featured Admins for your Store from the “Featured Admins” section in Store Dashboard. These Featured Admins are shown on Store Profile in a separate block.

    To open a Store, please follow the steps below:

    1. Click on “Open Store” from the main navigation menu bar at the top of any page on this community.

    2. Get to know about stores on this page and click on “Open a New Store” button.

    3. You will now be asked to do a ID verification (KYC - Know Your Customers) if you have not already done this. This is to ensure true and verified store and merchant owners. There is a small 4€ fee that you will have to pay using PayPal before you can complete the KYC. The KYC is done by JUMIO and 100% secure. You will need a valid ID to proceed.

    4. After a successful KYC you may choose a suitable “Package” for your Store and click on “Open a Store” button placed alongside the chosen Package.

    5. Fill out the mandatory and basic details for your Store.

    6. When you are done, click on “Open Store” button to open your Store.

    7. Configure and enhance your Store from its Dashboard.

    8. Add content like Photos, Videos, Offers, etc to enhance your Store.


    Tip: Our site admins or country admins control stores and products created. It might be that your specific store or product needs approval before being visible to the public. If you get a message from site admin or country admin to correct something you will have 3 days to comply. If your store is not adjusted after this time, it will be permanently deleted.
